O'Keefe Insurance AgencyA Letter to Our Members:
Here we go! Another Annual Enrollment is upon us. We want to thank you for your loyalty, friendship and trusting O’Keefe Insurance Agency as your agents, advisors, and advocates.
Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) starts October 15th and runs through December 7th. You most likely have already received your Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) letter regarding your Medicare Advantage plan, Cost Plan or Medicare Prescription Drug plan. It’s important you read this packet thoroughly as it includes any premium and/or benefit changes.
If you are happy with your current health care coverage and prescription drug coverage, you DO NOT have to take any action. Your plan will automatically roll over for 2021.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we are taking extra precautions this year. Many times, no appointment is needed, and we can talk plan-specifics over the phone. If you have questions about your health or prescription drug coverage for next year- give us a call! If it is necessary to meet, we are prepared with the proper PPE to safeguard all of us.
For our Medicare members… a couple of friendly reminders to keep you and your personal information safe from scams and false advertisements:
- Health insurance carriers are targeting people like you with false claims about FREE health care coverage, but these carriers do not tell you about high max out-of-pocket costs, narrow networks, limited benefits, or high co-insurance costs.
- NEVER give anyone your Social Security number! If Medicare needs to reach you, they will most likely send you a letter.
- Do not sign anything until you talk to us! As your trusted advisor we are here to help you make the best decisions for your health care needs.
For our Individual and Family plan members, plan information is not available until November 1. Call us then and we can talk plan specifics.
Small Group clients, your 2021 renewal letters should be in the mail… contact Molly if you want to review your current plan or look at new options.
Finally, we want to let you know that Char Burger in our office has decided to retire. We have loved working with Char these past 5 years and will be miss her tremendously! We thank her for her knowledge and friendship and wish her all the best. If you typically work with Char, please call our office and any one of us can help you.
We want to thank you for your loyalty and trusting us as your health insurance agents, advocates, and advisors.
Pat, Molly & Emily
