Here we go! Another Annual Enrollment is upon us. We want to thank you for your loyalty, friendship and trusting O’Keefe Insurance Agency as your agents, advisors, and advocates.

Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) starts October 15th and runs through December 7th. You most likely have already received your Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) letter regarding your Medicare Advantage plan, Cost Plan or Medicare Prescription Drug plan. It’s important you read this packet thoroughly as it includes any premium and/or benefit changes.

If you are happy with your current health care coverage and prescription drug coverage, you DO NOT have to take any action. Your plan will automatically roll over for 2023.

For our Medicare members… a couple of friendly reminders to keep you and your personal information safe from scams and false advertisements:

• Health insurance carriers are targeting people like you with false claims about FREE health care coverage, but these carriers do not tell you about high max out-of-pocket costs, narrow networks, limited benefits, or high co-insurance costs.
• NEVER give anyone your Social Security number! If Medicare needs to reach you, they will most likely send you a letter.
• Please do not sign anything until you talk to us! As your trusted advisor we are here to help you make the best decisions for your health care needs.

For our Individual and Family plan members, plan information is not available until November 1. Call us then and we can talk plan specifics.

Small Group clients, your 2023 renewal letters should be in the mail… contact Molly if you want to review your current plan or look at new options.
